Create and save customized export package settings for quick access and consistent documentation generation. Export presets allow you to create and save your frequently used export configurations, ensuring consistency and accuracy every time.

Creating a Preset

  1. Open any project

  2. From the export menu, select your desired export type

  3. Configure your settings across the two configuration screens:

    • Basic information and document structure

    • Specification selections

  4. Click "Save as Preset"

  5. Give your preset a name

  6. Click "Save"

Using Presets

Quick generation

Once a preset is saved, you can generate new exports with one click:

  1. Look for the lightning bolt icon in the export flyout menu

  2. Select your saved preset

  3. Modify the export name if needed

  4. Generate the export

Updating Existing Presets:

  1. Open an existing preset from the flyout menu next to the export type

  2. Modify settings as needed

  3. When saving, choose to either:
    🔘 Update the existing preset
    🔘 Create a new preset
    ​

Adding New Information:

You can modify an existing preset for a single export without changing the saved preset by:

  1. Opening the preset

  2. Adding new information

  3. Proceeding to export without saving changes to the preset
