Gather’s new Collections feature, currently in closed beta, provides a more structured way for your team to organize, issue, and revise specification packages.

What are Collections?

Collections allow you to group related specifications into manageable sets, making it easier to:

  • Create clearly defined specification packages

  • Track and manage revisions automatically

  • Lock specifications to prevent accidental changes

  • Issue and re-issue detailed specification packages with one click

What is a Beta?

A beta version is a pre-release stage of software where core functionality is complete but may still need refinement. Beta testing helps us gather real-world feedback to improve the feature before its full release.

Beta Participant Expectations

As a beta participant, you will:

Important Notes

  • Collections will be available on Firm, Pro, and Enterprise plans upon full release

  • Beta participants on other plans will receive special accommodations both during testing and after full release

  • While Collections is fully functional, you may encounter occasional bugs or workflow issues during the beta period

  • Your feedback will help us refine and improve the feature

💡 The Collections Beta is now closed. Our team is collecting feedback and will be implementing improvements. We will roll this feature out to all Firm, Pro, and Enterprise plans once the improvements are implemented.
