Learn how to create new folders, upload files, and collaborate by sharing your documents with clients and team members.

In this article, we walk you through the Files section of a project. You'll see how to create new folders, add files to a project, and share them with your clients and team members.

Creating New Folders

  1. Go to the Files tab

  2. On the right side of your project, type in the desired folder name in the green box.

3. Click on the "New" button or hit enter on your keyboard.

Done! Once created, you can now add files to the folder.

Deleting folders

To remove a folder, simply click on the trash bin icon located beside it.

Rearranging folders

If you wish to rearrange the sequence of your folders, click on the three-horizontal lined icon and drag the folder to the position you prefer.


Sharing Files with Clients

To share files with clients, all you need to do is uncheck the eye icon on the file so that it is green.

The documents you've shared with them will be included in the "Shared With Clients" folder.

Note: The eye symbol will not be visible until a client has been invited. To share files, you must first invite them.

Similarly, any files that your clients upload will be automatically added to the "From Clients" folder. Please note that this folder cannot be removed and is not visible to your clients.

What your client sees...

When your client logs in, they will be able to access the "Files" tab located at the top of the project page.

Note: They can only view the files that have been shared with them. The folder section, on the other hand, will not be visible to them.
