In Gather, "Types" are categories of items like lighting, furniture, wall-covering, accessories, etc. If you plan to use Gather's "Library" feature, it is super helpful to select a "Type" for each item you add. This will make filtering SO much easier!

We understand that our "Types" might not fit all your needs, so we do offer you the ability to rename, delete, and add new "Types" to your account. Here's how...

Step 1: Click on the "Account" dropdown in the upper right and select "Settings".

Step 2A: To create your own curated list of "Types", click "Rename" or "Delete".

Step 2B: To add a new "Type", scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "New Type".

Step 3: Fill in your new "Type" then click "Update Type" to save.

Step 4: Click "Back" to return to the list of "Types".
