To remove columns in Spreadsheet view, first make sure you are in Spreadsheet view. You can do this by hovering your mouse over the Display button.
After hovering your mouse over Display, click "Spreadsheet View" from the drop-down menu. It is the icon with the bullet point checklist.
Hover your mouse over the Display icon again and click on the drop-down menu for Display Attributes which is the box icon with three tall rectangles in it. Uncheck all the boxes for the columns you wish to be removed from your user view. *Please note: This only removes it from your user view. The other team members associated with your project will include all the default columns until they remove them as well.
Columns can also be moved around by clicking on a column and dragging it to the location you wish to drop it.
