If it's your first time using the new version, you will have to log in to it, but after that, it will save the login until you clear the cache or there is an update. You won’t have to log in to the clipper every time.

If you're logged in to your Gather account, but the clipper is still showing you the login screen please try clearing your cache. This linked article will walk you through how to clear your cache in Chrome. Please make sure you refresh the Gather page after clearing your cache.


If that still doesn't work, it could be because third-party cookies have been blocked in your Chrome settings. Please follow the steps below to see if that might be the problem.

Step 1: At the top right of your browser, click the ellipsis (three dots) that is vertically aligned then go to Settings.

After that, go to Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data.

Step 2: You will instantly see the window below. If the box is checked next to "Block third-party cookies and site data", uncheck this box as shown below. 

Step 3: If the box was checked, now try to log in to the clipper tool using the same email and password you use to log in to your main account. 

*Note: If you are getting the wrong message that says "invalid credentials", you may need to try one of the following tricks in order to log in successfully.

1.) Reset your password. See the article here on how to reset your password.

2.) Make sure your credentials are correct and your email address is in small caps.
