Update Item Status

Change an item's status in three ways: one at a time, in bulk, or from within the item.

There are three ways to update an item's status. Pick the one that fits what you're doing.

Change one status at a time

Click the status indicator in the lower-left corner of the item card and pick the new status.

Change multiple item statuses at once

Step 1: Select the items you want to update. See Selecting Items if you need a refresher.

Step 2: From the Bulk Actions menu in the action bar, choose Update Status. Pick the new status.

πŸ’‘ Bulk Actions requires a selection. If nothing is selected, the menu stays grayed out.

Change a status from inside an item

Open the item, click the status in the upper-right corner, and pick the new status from the dropdown.

Looking to update status dates instead?

Update Status only changes the status label (for example, Proposed, Ordered, Shipped). To bulk update status dates, like Estimated Install Date, Estimated Ship Date, or PO Submit Date, use Bulk Edit instead:

  1. Select the items to update.

  2. Go to Bulk Actions and choose Edit.

  3. Scroll to the Dates & Status section.

  4. Enter the dates you need, then click Save.
