Gather

The Gather Clipper can be configured to automatically create new supplier contacts when saving items from the web. This saves time and keeps your Contacts list up to date without manual entry.

Follow the steps below to enable this feature and make sure supplier info is captured automatically.

Click the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner of the Clipper window.

Select “Settings” from the dropdown.

Step 2: Enable Automatic Supplier Creation

Check the box labeled “Create new suppliers from Clipper.”

Click the "Back" arrow to save your changes.

Once this setting is enabled, here’s how the Clipper handles new supplier websites:

When you're on a website that’s not yet in your Contacts, the Clipper will display "No supplier".

Click “Add Supplier”, fill in the name if needed, and click “Add”.

3. Save the item as usual.

Quick Tip: The Clipper identifies suppliers based on their website URL. If a supplier doesn’t have a URL saved in Contacts, the Clipper won’t auto-match it next time.

🔧 To fix this: Go to Contacts → Edit any missing suppliers and add their website.
